About the Author

Fiddleswerth began as a bedtime friend I invented for my daughter when she was two - a gentle elf on the moon who watched over her while she slept. When she was five, her father died, and the character she already knew and trusted became the way we found words for the hardest thing of all. That story became When Daddy Becomes a Star. I have spent my career working to improve the lives of children, and every Fiddleswerth story is still written the way the first one was: for one child I love, and then for yours.  I write from Florida with my husband, Bruce - the first to say Fiddleswerth should be shared with the world.
